| 08/31/2010 | Salve! Assignment due: 9/6,7/10 1. Conjugate the verb "habitare" (first look the word up in the Latin-English vocabulary and follow the model for conjugating lst conjugation verbs found on p. 138)...HINT: do not confuse the word "habitare" with "habere"--the first is a first conjugation word and the second is a second conjugation verb) N.B. (this is the abbreviation for the Latin: Nota Bene which means "Note Well") Use a clean sheet of paper on which to write your homework; please write legibly--if I cannot read your homework: no grade; pleas PUT YOUR NAME on your work: no name, no grade! Keep this in mind because I am not going to repeat this "N.B." in future assignments. Remember: in Latin, we DECLINE nouns and adjectives and we CONJUGATE verbs :) Deus tibi benedicat! Dr. Licari |
