Members of the parish council serve five year terms. New members are nominated by the council and approved by the pastor. The Parish Council meets once a month.

Tim Diamond can usually be found greeting parishioners arriving for the 11am Mass on Sunday mornings. In addition to his long-time service as an usher, he also serves as a Sacristan. He is always happy to fill in wherever help is needed and seems to know everything going on at Corpus Christi. Tim and his wife, Jacelyn, have been active members of the parish for 20 years. Their three children, Callie, Julia and Luke, are all graduates of Corpus Christi School.

Dawn Goffi joined the parish in 1979 when she and her husband, Jim, moved to Mobile. She still remembers attending Mass in the old church before the new church was built. Dawn has two adult children and five grandchildren. Her grandchildren that live in Mobile all attended Corpus Christi School. Dawn has been a member of the Altar Society for many years and currently serves as the group’s president. For the past 26 years, she has also served as a volunteer at Ascension Providence Hospital.

Cynthia Wentworth and her husband, Sean, have been parishioners at Corpus Christi for 25 years. Five of their six children are graduates of Corpus Christi School. Their youngest is currently in the seventh grade. Cynthia has been an active member of various parish organizations and ministries, including the Funeral Reception Committee, the women's rosary group, Seven Sisters Apostolate, Lector and the RCIA Team. She also is active in the Wednesday night Ladies of St. Clare women's group and helps provide childcare for the Ladies of St. Clare Thursday morning women's group. She and her family usually attend 9am Mass on Sunday mornings.

When Marisol Valladares and her mother moved to Mobile from New Orleans in 2004, they visited several Catholic Churches, but knew instantly that Corpus Christi would be their parish home from their first visit, which happened to be on the feast of Corpus Christi. Marisol has particpated in many parish activities over the years, including Rosary group and prolife events. She has also served as a communion minister. Originally from El Salvador, Marisol grew up in New Orleans and graduated from the University of New Orleans with an Accounting degree. She is the youngest of three sisters and considers caring for her mom, who she describes as her pride and joy, to be her life's vocation. Marisol usually attends the 5:30pm Vigil Mass on Saturday, or the 11am Sunday Mass.

Pat has been a parishioner at Corpus Christi since 1995. He previously served on the parish council in the early 2000s. He also volunteered as a Cub Scout leader and CYO soccer coach while his sons, Alex and Regan, attended Corpus Christi. He has been an active member of the Men of St. Joseph since they formed a chapter in our parish. In addition to having two sons, Pat has three step children, Drew, Gracie and Emily. He and his wife, Sheri, typically attend 11am Mass on Sundays. Pat was raised in an Airforce faily and lived in various states growing up. He graduated from Mississippi State and has owned his own business for 20 years. Fun fact, his eldest brother is a priest at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Perdido Key, FL.

James Edwards serves as our Youth Rep on the Parish Council. He has been a member of Corpus Christi Parish since he was born. He is the youngest son of Judy Laurence and Donnie Edwards and has two brothers, Walter and Harry.
James graduated from Corpus Christi School and is an active member of the Corpus Christi Youth Group. He is currently a sophomore at WP Davidson High School, where he is in the EPIC Engineering Program. James also plays on the JV Soccer Team, E-Sports team and is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
James is ready to update the Parish Council on the latest with the youth in our parish. Like most teenagers, you can find him at a different Mass each weekend depending on his busy schedule!

Claire and her husband, Brant, have been parishioners for 15 years. Their eldest two daughters, Miriam and Amelia, both graduated from Corpus Christi School and currently attend McGill-Toolen Catholic High School. Their youngest daughter, Isabelle, is currently enrolled at CCS. Additionally, the Hannas are foster parents to a one year old little boy. Claire is passionate about fostering volunteerism in our younger parishioners and has been very active in our Seton Sisters service organization for young girls since its inception. Claire is a pediatric occupational therapist and typically attends 11am Mass with her family on Sunday mornings.

Robert and his wife, Erin, have been parishioners at Corpus Christi for 10 years. They have two young daughters, Ryleigh and Amelia, who are enrolled in Corpus Christi School. Robert was inspired by one of our annual Stewardship appeals to get more involved in parish life. He currently serves as an extraordinary minister and lector, most often for the 9am Mass. Robert is also an active member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as chancellor, and a member of the Men of St. Joseph. On the second Sunday of every month, he leads the Rosary prior to our 9am Mass. When he’s not volunteering his time to our parish or school, Robert is busy at work with the Mobile Police Department.
